A man always has two reasons for doing anything: a good reason and the real reason.

Sheela - An actress who is ready to bring down her salary
Sheela - An actress who is ready to bring down her salary
Only very few actresses who enter the film industry as a child artist are able to retain their name and position even after they are grown up. One such actress is Sheela who came into Tamil cinemas as a child and did a remarkable job. Unfortunately it was not that easy for her to shine as a lead actress in Tamil movies. On the other hand, she has a good scope in the Telugu Industry, where she pairs with many lead actors. There is a rumor that she is demanding huge salary for working in a movie. But when Sheela talks about this, she says that she is getting many offers for doing small roles in Tamil, yet she refuses them because she had already done a mistake by choosing the wrong movies, which leaves her without an opportunity to retain a place for herself in the Tamil industry. She even admits that it is totally her fault for not choosing the right script.
Sheela feels that the people, with whom she has refused to do a movie, are spreading wrong news about her. It seems that she is being paid a good amount for working in Telugu, yet she is ready to bring down her salary when it comes to Tamil films.
Added to this, it looks like she is also more than ready to do a glamorous role. When asked about this she says that there is nothing wrong in being glamorous. But everything will be good to watch until and unless it crosses a certain level. But Sheela does not seem to worry about all that. Her main motive is to make a comeback into Tamil movies and to secure a special place for her in the industry. Any day the name got by doing good performance oriented roles is long lasting when compared to glamour roles. Hope Sheela understands that there is only a thin line between glamour and obscenity and stays without crossing the line.
Jabuticaba - A Tree that Fruits on its Trunk
Jabuticaba – The Tree that Fruits on its Trunk
No, this is not a belated April Fool’s prank. They look as if they may have been pinned there by an overenthusiastic gardener to impress the neighbors, but the fruit of the Jabuticaba really does grow off the trunk of the tree.
The Incredible Magdeburg Water Bridge in Germany
The Magdeburg Water Bridge is a navigable aqueduct in Germany that connects the Elbe-Havel Canal to the Mittelland Canal, and allows ships to cross over the Elbe River. At 918 meters, it is the longest navigable aqueduct in the world.
The Elbe-Havel and Mittelland canals had previously met near Magdeburg but on opposite sides of the Elbe. Ships moving between the two had to make a 12-kilometer detour, descending from the Mittelland Canal through the Rothensee boat lift into the Elbe, then sailing downstream on the river, before entering the Elbe-Havel Canal through Niegripp lock. Low water levels in the Elbe often prevented fully laden canal barges from making this crossing, requiring time-consuming off-loading of cargo.
