The construction of the Krapivinskaya hydro power plant began in 1975. In 1989 due to extensive struggle with ecological problems the construction was stopped. Water engineering system was abandoned, no construction conservation conducted. During the following years the state of the complex only worsened. The equipment was partially stolen. But the further fate of the complex is still unknown.
