Kollywood town is abuzz with the rumors doing the rounds every nook and corner in the industry. It is the gossip of director Gautham Vasudev Menon planning to go on with the sequel to his much romantic and much successful movie Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, which starred actor Simbu and actress Trisha in the lead roles. Right now director Gautham Menon is busy with the post production works of Neethane En Ponvasantham, but reports suggest that he is already in talks with actor Simbu for finalizing the script for the sequel. A source also reported that Gautham Menon is planning to rope in actress Trisha again for the second edition of the romance. However, the actress has denied any such rumors!
The media tried to contact the pretty actress for comment over the happening of the Vinnaithaandi Varuvayaa 2, and the actress made herself available to give a few words. She told the media that, so far, no one has approached her for any role in VTV2. When asked whether she knew about the happening of the project, she added that only gossips about VTV2 are doing the rounds right now, and no official confirmation has reached yet. She also added that neither the director nor the production house has contacted her regarding the movie.
Questioning about her future projects, the 29 year old actress told the media that she is in talks with some directors and producers in both Tamil and Telugu cinema industries. She added that she is eagerly listening to the scripts and would be choosing them only if they had some meaty roles for her. Right now, Trisha, who is supposed to be on the decline of her successful cinema career, is busy with three movies in Tamil industry that includes Vishal starrer Samar, Jayam Ravi starrer Boologam and Jiiva starrer Endrendum Punnagai.
