This is Lurch, Lurch was born in Missouri, USA and is currently known as the bull with the largest horn in the world, the proud bearer of the world’s largest horns. Lurch is a Watusi bull living in an Animal shelter, whose horns measure 92.25 cm and weigh more than 100 pounds each. He’s quite the attraction in his home state and he’s favorite pass-time is acting as bodyguard for a crippled horse that’s being harassed by fellow horses. Worlds Biggest Chocolate Bar

Switzerland and Belgium may be the world’s most famous chocolate-making countries, but tiny Armenia has just stolen some of their spotlight by creating the largest chocolate bar, ever.

The sweet event took place in Armenia’s capital of Yerevan, and was organized by the Grand Candy Factory – a local chocolate making company – as a way to celebrate to celebrate its 10 years of existence. Guinness Book representatives were invited to take part in the unveiling of the chocolate monster created, and to make sure this event goes into the record books.

The giant chocolate bar weighs 4,400 kilograms, is 224 inches long, 110 inches wide, 10 inches thick and is made from cocoa beans from Ghana. In the following weeks, the world’s biggest chocolate down will be chipped into pieces and handed out to freely around Yerevan. The previous record for the world’s biggest chocolate bar was set in 2007, in Italy.

Elephant in the Room - India's Biggest Art Work by Ryan International School

Today, 3,000 Ryan International School (Rohini) children joined aerial artist Daniel Dancer in New Delhi to form the image of an elephant to remind their leaders that they can’t afford to ignore climate change – the elephant in the living room.

On October 22 of this year, India's Environment Ministry, Jairam Ramesh, declared the elephant a “National Heritage Animal” to highlight it's unique role in India's history, culture, and ecology. It is for that reason that thousands of school children came together to form a giant image of an elephant in the country’s capital as a symbol of India's wish to preserve their history, culture, and ecology by countering the threat of climate change and taking actions that can lead the world back below 350 ppm CO2.

70-year-old fisherman, an amateur from Germany Guenter Hansel incredibly big fish caught and sold for ... 2500 dollars. Giant halibut length of 2,5 meters and weights 220 kilograms was caught on rod Hansel in the open sea, when he was in his boat. In order to drag-to-coast record trophy lucky grandfather needed help 5-x other fishermen who helped him with a tug. Interestingly, from the record a huge halibut, on the basis of its weight, could get more than 1000 portions of fillets! But apparently, Hansel is not the same master table matters, such as fishing, and prefer to sell their catch to one of the locals for 2500 dollars!

On 25 January 2009, in Mexico City, Mexico, Philadelphia of Kraft Foods Mexico was recognized by Guinness World Records as the creator of the largest cheesecake ever made.

The colossal confectionery weighed 2,133.5 kg, had a diameter of 2.5 m and was 56 cm tall.

The recipe for the world’s largest cheesecake included 800 kg of Philadelphia cream cheese, 800 kg of yogurt, 350 kg of cookies, 250 kg of sugar, 150 kg of butter and 100 kg of strawberries, along with other ingredients.

Animals great and small are on the move around the world, chasing resources in dangerous journeys that might take mere hours or span generations. A sheerleg is a floating crane, but compared to crane vessel it is not capable of rotating the crane separate from the ship.

There is a huge variety in sheerlegs when it comes to size and capacity. The smaller cranes start around 50 tons in lifting capacity, with the largest being able to lift over 4000 tons. The bigger sheerlegs usually have their own propulsion system and have a large accommodation facility onboard, while smaller units are a floating pontoons that need be towed to their workplace by tugboats.

Common work that sheerlegs are used for are ships salvage, assistance in shipbuilding, loading and unloading large cargo into ships, and bridge building. They have grown considerably larger over the last decades because of growth, mainly because the parts for constructing ships and harbor equipment has grown as well.

Amazing happenings-World's biggest clock begins ticking

A giant clock on a skyscraper in Islam's holiest city Mecca began ticking on Wednesday at the start of the fasting month of Ramadan, amid hopes by Saudi Arabia it will become the Muslim world's official timekeeper.

The Mecca Clock, which Riyadh says is the world's largest, has four faces measuring 43 metres in diameter.

It sits 400 metres up what will be the world's second-tallest skyscraper and largest hotel, overlooking the city's Holy Grand Mosque, which Muslims around the world turn to five times a day for prayer.

"The Holy Mecca Clock started with the order of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud ... one minute after 12am this morning, the first day of the holy month of Ramadan," Saudi state news agency SPA said.

Biggest Custard Pie Fight Guinness Record set by Lawrenceville School Student

 The Lawrenceville School hosted the potentially record-breaking chocolate custard pie fight at a campus field — fittingly called “The Bowl” — yesterday afternoon, hoping not only to earn a spot in the Guinness World Records, but also to raise money for the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK).

Armed with 1,541 confectionery bombs, the battle — fought by the school’s students and faculty — raged well over five minutes. Participants paid $4 each for the chance to pummel their peers with the tasty weapons, and, combined with other donations from campus organizations and independent contributors, the fight generated around $10,000 for TASK.

Miguelin, is a 6.5 meters tall animated baby that Spain has created for its pavilion, at the Shanghai World Expo 2010.
And if you thing this toddler’s just a big old doll, you’re sadly mistaken. Miguelin breaths, blinks and dreams of the cities we leave to our future generations, while smiling to visitors that walk by. The baby’s “mother” is Spanish film director, Isabel Coixet, who picked this theme both because of “the passion China and Spain share for children”, and as a way of showing that our actions have consequences on our children.
Miguelin, who was constructed in the US, dreams of the future, and his dreams will be animated, for all visitors to see. I’m sure this big baby will become a star when the Shanghai Expo opens, on May 1st.
